First Jaundice test

Today the nurse came to my house to check my mummy blood pressure and me as well. After mummy, the nurse checked me. She found that I looked a bit yellow. She asked mummy send me to clinic after 2pm for jaundice test. My mummy was very worry and quickly called ah yee who going to work today. Mummy asked her to take half day leave and send me to clinic. At this moment, I was compassion. THEY love me so much.

In the clinic, the nurse suddenly poked me at my foot. I was a bit pain, so I gave a few ‘cry’ without tears. I settled down again after about 10 second of crying. Wai po thinks that I was very brave. I was also very impressed with myself. Yeah, xuan xuan is brave girl.

The nurse took my blood sample for testing of jaundice. Unluckily, the test of jaundice has shown high reading. I need to take second test next week. If the significant no improvement, then I need to be admitted to hospital for ‘sun bath’ and tanning.

One week has passed. Wai po brought me to clinic again. The nurse poked me at my foot. This time, I m good girl because no more crying from me. Oh.. the second test of jaundice has shown significant improvement, that's good. Yeah, I no need to have "sun bath" and tanning. Yahoo…...

Third days

After milk, mummy let me laid on the bed. Normally I will sleep for a while. But today, I was a bit playful. I was playing with my ah yee who lazy and did not go to work again. I grinned at her songs and jokes.

Suddenly I heard my mummy and wai po were talking. I tried to open my eyes as big as I can. What I want to do? Hahaha……

I wanted to join my mummy and wai po conversation (I m ke po bb). I opened my eyes a while but I may closed my eyes for a while because I still cannot ‘tahan’ with the strong light. After a short rest, I opened again my eyes and continued the talk between mummy and wai po.

I was trying hard to say ‘ang gu’ with them. But I failed to do that. I promised you mummy, I will try my best to say ‘ang gu’ soon… Be patient ya. Hehe….

I Home

Yahoo!!!! I woke up early in the morning. I was so excited. I guessed my daddy and mummy are going to bring me home.

I was waiting in SCN. My mummy and daddy finally came to visit me here. I love you daddy and mummy. Hmm…. My mummy was lousy. She not dared to carry me from the bed. The nurse carried me and passed to her. Mummy smile, I like her smile even through her face looked round and big. Well, the nurse asked my mummy tried to breastfeed. My mummy looked blurred. She ‘kelam kabut’ and tried her best. Anyway, her milk not produced yet. I cannot get any milk from her. After a while, they back to mummy’s room. She hungry… haha.

Few hours time...

DADDY !!! He came to see me. ‘FLASH’ what is that?? My eyes and I felt dizzy… Oh I see, daddy took few pictures of mine. My wai po and po tai desired to see my look because they cannot entered the SCN. Well anybody be patient, I will be going back soon.

Afternoon...

After my daddy settle all necessary document for my mummy. They came to SCN to take me. Woo, finally I met my wai poi and po tai. They wanted to hug me. Eh, hold on, one by one and take turn ok? Hahaha….
Good bye SCN, I home.

Its a girl. (25/4/08)

10pm (24/4), as usual 2 of the nurses came to check my mummy’s Blood pressure and my heartbeat. After that, they sent my mummy supper. Yummy, milo and biscuits. I like it. After supper, my daddy called her. He asked my mummy be careful and called him once I wan to come out. Hahaha…. This made my mummy more worry because she no experience. How was she knew it? But she cannot tell anyone. She only can bury all the nervous inside her heart. Well, my mummy very brave and she stopped to think all of this.

12am in the morning, the signal I gave to my mummy getting clearer. Yes, it was contraction. And it was happening about every 15 minutes. But blur mummy think that pain should not be contraction because wai po told her the contraction happen every 5 minutes. So she continued to sleep. Hmmm…. Actually mummy cannot sleep. She turned from left to right and right to left. Totally cannot sleep.

Dic-doc, dic-doc…… mummy looked at the watch. The needle of the watch shown 1am. My mummy cannot ‘tahan’ of this and pressed the bell to call nurse. The nurse quickly came in. she very nice, quickly pushing the wheel chair to my mummy’s room and sent her to the delivery suite. On the way to delivery suite, my mummy quickly called my daddy to come.


When in delivery suite around 2am, my mummy’s handphone ring. It was my daddy. He was waiting me outside the delivery suite. The nurse checked my mummy’s blood pressure and listened to my heartbeat. Haha…. I heard my mummy shouting slowly in the suite. The senior nurse not allowed my mummy to shout and asked her to keep the energy and push me out later. Luckily a patient practical nurse helped my mummy massage her back and talked to her.

My mummy very scared of pain. She tried to push me out. But the senior nurse said not yet. Have to wait another 4 hours. ‘Oh my god’ my mummy shouted inside her heart. Suddenly a lot of practical nurses came in the suite. Oh, 6am already. They changed shift. One of the nurses continued to massage my mummy’s back. She asked my mummy breath deeply because this action can reduce the pain.

6:30am. The nurse rushed to call the senior nurse. They saw my head. The senior asked my daddy entered. Once daddy here, I can felt that mummy became strong. She tried to push me out and at the same time daddy was helping mummy to push up her head. Senior told mummy to stop and rest first as my head still high up inside the womb.7:00am. Senior came in again. She asked my mummy to push again. My daddy was behind my mummy very excited and asked her to work hard on pushing me out. ‘POP’ finally, mummy pushed me out and i cried loudly.

"It's a Girl" and time was 8:00am.

The nurse was counting my fingers and toes and showed to daddy and mummy that I am a girl.According to daddy, I was fair in colour. Later, I was brought to my mummy. Then I was pushed to a room. They took my weight, height and the size of my head. I was 3.05kg and length 51cm.That's how I was brought to the world. Haha……

Now only the malay doctor appeared in front of my mummy. He told my mummy that I would be sent to SCN. This is because I was oligo and needed special care.

Oh, mummy dun leave me. I scared!!!!!

Its me, Pretty girl.

1pm. Mummy and daddy came to visit me at SCN. Actually wai po and tai po wanna followed but the SCN only allow parent to go in to visit me.

That's me, pretty? I was still very sleepy and could not open my eyes, too bright for me. The nurse cleaned my body, wrapped me up and put me in baby casing.

I was still sleeping. Then I felt someone put me to something very warm and familiar to me.

Oh yes, that’s my mummy. Daddy carried me to mummy because she dun know how to carried small baby like me!!

Hey mummy, dun breastfeed me first. The nurse in SCN had fed me just now. I full and I only wan to sleep. Hehe….

Both daddy and mummy were happy and looking at me. I peeped, and continued to sleep.

At night, I was lonely because mummy was not beside me. But I not scared, I m brave girl. See you tomorrow daddy and mummy.

23th April (Pre-me)

Today is the second day my mummy stayed in the hospital Segamat. Doc said the amniotic fluid's of mine become less. My mummy started to feel a bit of pain but she was not sure whether it was contraction or not. My daddy very worry and dun know what to do. He just accompany my mummy in the hospital. My 'wai po' and 'po tai' very excited too. They came to visit my mum every 'visiting time' of hospital. They hope me can came out as fast as possible because they dun wan my mummy suffer in pain. My mummy felt contraction every half hour. Hehe.... i was very naughty and still wanted to sleep inside my mummy's tummy

At nite, my daddy was asked by the guard to leave the room. My mummy alone in the room and she scared. She talked a lot to me. I heard a lot too. She nagged me a lot and wanted me to come out fast.

Ok la.... I m good gal. Come out soon. Daddy and mummy........'Hello every body'... i m coming haha!!
